How to Order Promotional Products: Step by Step

The 7 steps

1. Ideas

Start by browsing the product catalog, or skip the searching and tell us about your event, your audience, your budget and the date you need items in hand. We research options and come back with ideas that fit. This is the step most clients lean on us for, because the catalog includes hundreds of thousands of products and the right pick depends on how the item will be used.

2. Quote

We put together a detailed quote that covers the product, decoration, quantity, setup fees and shipping. If anything is unclear, such as imprint colors or delivery address, we ask before we finalize it. In some cases we can also provide a virtual mockup at this stage so you can see the idea before you order.

3. Approval and payment

When the quote looks right, you approve it and receive an invoice for secure online payment. Payment is due before production.

4. Order placed

After payment, we place the order with the supplier, usually within about one business day.

5. Digital proof

The supplier's art team creates a digital proof showing your logo on the product, typically within 1 to 3 business days. Check spelling, colors, size and placement carefully. Nothing goes into production until you approve the proof.

6. Production

Production starts as soon as you approve the proof. On most products it takes about 5 to 7 working days, and we confirm the timing against your in-hands date.

7. Shipping

We give you an estimated ship date and email you tracking as soon as the order ships.

What to have ready

• Your in-hands date, the day you need the items, not the event date if those differ.
• Quantity, or a range if you are flexible.
• Your logo file, ideally a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF). See the logo artwork guide.
• Brand colors, with PMS numbers if you have them.
• Shipping address, and whether anything ships to more than one location.
